Classification: Part-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt (< 30 Hours/week)
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
Reports to: Sr. Wholesale Sales Manager

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sorority Sales Intern to join our team. who is passionate about sorority life and excited to grow their sales and marketing skills. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, a strong communicator, and ready to immerse themselves in a fast-paced, creative environment. This position offers valuable insight into the world of sales and provides an opportunity to work closely with our experienced sales team.  Our environment is fueled by creativity and innovation; our people are flexible, adaptable, and always ready to take on new challenges.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A SALES INTERN:

As a Sales Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the sales team with various tasks and projects. The below list provides a non-exhaustive list of the types of activities that can be expected during the course of the internship:

As a Sorority Sales Intern, you’ll be an integral part of our sales team, helping expand the reach of our That’s So Sorority Collection to retailers nationwide. You will be responsible for assisting the sales team with various tasks and projects, including but not limited to:

  • Prospecting potential sorority retail partners and generating new leads.
  • Managing accounts and building lasting relationships with customers.
  • Assisting with our wholesale platform by responding to customer inquiries and maintaining listings.
  • Supporting email marketing campaigns with content creation and scheduling.
  • Conducting outreach to introduce our licensed sorority products to prospective retailers.
  • Tracking and analyzing sales data to help identify growth opportunities.
  • Helping coordinate samples and materials for retail buyers.
  • Representing our sorority-focused products with authenticity and pride.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess experience with and a strong understanding of sorority life and culture.
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field of study. (Required)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite; familiarity with wholesale and ecommerce platforms a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
