Sales Intern

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan
Classification: Part-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt (< 30 Hours/week)
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
Reports to: Sr. Wholesale Sales Manager

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with excellent communication skills and a strong desire to gain hands-on experience in sales and marketing. This position offers valuable insight into the world of sales and provides an opportunity to work closely with our experienced sales team. As a Sales Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the sales team with various tasks and projects, including but not limited to:

  • Monitoring E-commerce Customer Service email and providing timely responses to customer inquiries.
  • Uploading new products to our online platforms, including writing product descriptions, arranging products, and building out collections.
  • Utilizing our sales platforms to manage product listings and inventory.
  • Assisting with our wholesale platform management by monitoring and responding to messages from potential and existing customers, downloading orders, and maintaining the website.
  • Providing support for email marketing campaigns, including content creation and scheduling.
  • Conducting prospecting activities to identify potential leads and customers.
  • Assisting with reporting tasks, including data analysis and generating sales reports.
  • Coordinating the distribution of representative samples to clients and prospects.
  • Following up on declined credit card transactions and resolving any issues.
  • Monitoring and responding to messages on our social media channels. 


  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field of study. (Required)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, wholesale platforms, and E-commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
